Methodology

Motion Graphics Animation

Production Phases:

CONCEPT & MILESTONES:

Blueprint
Storyline

This initial phase develops the core idea and establishes the main video objective.

It provides a blueprint for the video pipeline, the storyline and gives a precise strategy for creating production milestones.

STYLEFRAMES:

Overall Look & Feel Motion Design Discovery

Once the concept phase is complete, 3-5 still frame compositions are created to define the look, feel and overall style/mood for the finished video. Exploration of the specific type of animation or motion design is also established.

STORYBOARD:

Implementation

The storyboard phase determines the action or animation of each focal point throughout the video. It provides a detailed look at different transitions between the scenes and includes where or how all the specific design elements are implemented

PRODUCTION:

Motion Design
Editing

All elements/assets are produced and animated based on the transitions, animations, and art direction outlined in the storyboard and approved from the style frames. Scenes and comps are individually exported from the video for tests and to manage the client’s expectations of the final video.

SOUND DESIGN:

Voice Over/Sound Design

With the complettion of production, and all the timing, edits and comps are approved, sound design is applied. Sound design includes sound effects, tonal atmospheres, and music. If a voiceover is needed, this dictates how the storyboard is created and is incorporated at the storyboard phase.

POST PRODUCTION:

Renders
Revisions
Final Exports

After the completion of sound design, the entire video is exported for first-looks. From there, any revisions are made to meet the client’s satisfaction and video is finalized.
